For many people, the 4th of July is not a significant date, but for me it is everything! It is the day God chose to bring me into this world on a lovely Wednesday morning in 1990. This is exactly why I am not a morning person and I am sure my friends and family will testify to that LOL! But anyway I am just here with an appreciation blog. Appreciation of love and life! Let’s get into the first blog of my favourite month of July!

Speaking of Love, it continues to be Wedding Season! And this weekend I was more than happy to attend and celebrate my little sister’s wedding. She made a very stunning bride and I wish her and her husband the very best that life has to offer! So when it comes to being their wedding guest, I opted for a subtle slay in grey. It can be so hard deciding what to wear but Missguided came through! The dress was 38 euro and you can find out how I got it for less in my YouTube video here.

So this dress is an off the shoulder-one shoulder maxi dress. It’s a bit of a mouthful. It comes in all sizes all the way up to a size 16. Click here to get the dress. It is a gorgeous dress. True to size albeit a little snug. It is made from ribbed jersey material so it has that good stretch that curvy girls like me need for it to fit my waist to hip ratio! Even though the material is nice and thick, a good pair of spanx can help smooth things out for optimum slayage.

I wanted to keep in the same colour palette with my accessories. Everything was grey and silver. My choker is from Sammydress. I bought them for my sister’s wedding back in December when I was bridesmaid and I am still making use of the shoes which is always a plus! You can find a similar pair here.
