Primark is one of my favourite high street shops! And if you are looking for a last minute New Year’s Eve outfit, it is definitely a one-stop-shop. Let’s get into this outfit post, shall we?

New Year’s Eve is definitely the time to let your hair down and wear as much shimmer, sequins and glitter as you like without anyone looking at you sideways. Seeing as my own personal style is subtle, I opted for a little shimmer. I was in Primark/Penneys casually browsing through the sale racks as always. When I saw this gold slip dress for just €7! I had nowhere to wear it in mind but I figured buy now and figure it out later!

It’s in a size 16 UK/IRL and its super comfortable and because it’s a slip dress, its loose enough not to ride up when you are walking, we all know that tugging and pulling on a dress is annoying, comment below if you know the struggle! LOL! Anyway, I paired the dress with black lace-up sandals also from Primark and they also cost €7.

The black trench coat is from NextMia but unfortunately it’s sold out. I just figured black accessories compliment the dress well because even though it’s gold, it has some black undertones woven into the gold shimmer.
