Crushed Velvet

Season’s greetings beautiful people! As we wrap up the year, not only are we reflecting on 2016 but some of us are probably wandering what to wear on New Year’s Eve! So lets get into this week’s outfit post!

If you are wandering how I managed to get a tan in the middle of winter then have a look at my vlog to my recent trip to South Africa for a baecation on YouTube here.  The tan looks so good next to this gorgeous pink crushed velvet dress! I love pink and the crushed velvet has become a staple trend of 2016. It’s a classic wrap dress, asymmetric with a thigh high split. It’s in a size 14 UK/IRL and it is from Pretty Little Thing. You can get the dress by clicking on this direct link. It costs €39.20 but if you look out for discount and promo codes you won’t have to pay the full price.

I thought this dress is perfect for NYE celebrations because new year’s eve is all about glitz and glam and if you hate sequins like me, then this shimmery velvet dress is a good alternative.

Let’s not forget that we are in the middle of the winter and a coat is necessary during your travels back and forth from said celebrations. I teamed this sexy little number with a nude satin duster jacket from Missguided and you can get it here. It’s currently at 50% off so get it whilst the getting is good! LOL! Anyway, continuing with the nude accessories I wore nude shoes with gold hardware from Korky’s that I purchased last year.

Hope this gave you some inspiration for your NYE celebrations!

Enjoy the festivities and stay safe…

Don’t say I never told you.

Peace and Love.
