Minimal Monochrome

It’s not everyday cute dresses and heels. I realised that I rarely post casual day-to-day outfits so here is my first! Dressed down in jeans, a white tee and faux leather jacket with high ankle boots to still keep that element of glam.

First things first, these high-waist jeans! My stomach is the biggest problem area for me and I am always looking for ways to hide it and high-waist jeans do just that! These Topshop Black Rip Joni Jeans are amazing! They hold you in in all the right ways and the ripped knee is very much on trend. They can be a bit pricey at €55 a pair, but I always ask for the student discount which is usually 10% . If you’re no longer a student, maybe get a friend that still has a student ID to buy them for you that way you don’t miss out on the discount! I’m wearing these in a size 16 UK/IRL. I paired them with a size 16 UK/IRL lose classic v-neck white t-shirt from forever 21+ which is only €7.

This faux leather jacket is something I am excited to share with you guys. It is from LIDL Fashion. Yes yes, the same LIDL you buy your cheaper groceries from. This is one of the few pieces I bought from their recent launch and I am in love! It was only € and the quality is outstanding. The choker I am wearing is from Primark/Penneys and it only cost €2.50. It’s my first ever choker (since the 90’s) but I am not sure if it’s a trend i’ll keep following.

The handbag is also from Primark, it was on sale for €7 and its bigger than it looks and actually fits quite a lot of stuff. The high ankle boots were borrowed from my mother’s closet. They are from Dunnes Stores, originally €120 but she bought them for €80. Not a bad price for genuine leather.

If you are not into heels, this look would be just as glam with a pair of black and white runners which is what I immediately changed into after this blog shoot, lol!

Have a look at my latest YouTube video. Click here.

I am pleasantly surprised by LIDL Fashion’s quality and price point. Go have a look in LIDL and maybe you might just see something you like too. I am not concerned about Name Brands, I just care about good quality at an affordable price!

It’s not about how much it costs, but how it looks and how you style it!

Don’t say I never told you!

Peace and Love.
