I am never one to follow trends but when you see something everywhere it’s really hard not jump on the bandwagon! Khaki has been trending for what feels like forever now. It’s like…what colours did we even used to wear before khaki came about?

I have more than a couple of khaki pieces in my wardrobe and I figured why not share how I wear some of them, right?

Summer is now officially upon us which means we can ditch those heavy coats for lighter alternatives such as this sleeveless jacket here.

I paired it with a floral top I got in Primark some time ago and my new favourite Joni jeans from Topshop, I blogged about them here. If you are a slightly hesitant to wear white jeans, this combination is great because you are covered up a little.

One thing I always do when I go shopping, is to always keep in mind the colours of the pieces I already have and see what I need to complete a look. I was in Primark, (I went in for tights and came out with clothes and forgot all about the tights, as you do in Penneys!) and I saw this khaki shoulder bag with gold zip detail on sale! I don’t remember the exact price but it was less than €5 so obviously I couldn’t leave it.

I got the khaki shoes in New Look on sale as well so they are no longer available in stores but like I said, Khaki is everywhere and it shouldn’t be too hard to find a similar pair! The khaki sleeveless jacket is from TKMaxx from a few months ago but you can find a similar one here.

This a cute date night look but stay away from red wine because accidents happen, especially when you are wearing white!
