I have been looking to update my wardrobe and inject it with colour and this mustard yellow skater dress does just that!

I can honestly say I have developed a love for lace! My previous ‘outfit of the day’ post featured floral lace and this one is no different. I was in Forever 21 the other day and the first thing I spotted when I went to the plus size section was this mustard dress and like many of my impulse buys, I just had to have it.

The sizes in Forever 21+ range from 0x to 3x. Although I am plus-size, I am considered to be on the smaller side so this dress is in a size 0x. The dress is currently available in stores but not online so head on over to your nearest store.

The back has criss-cross straps that are adjustable for a comfortable fit.

The cut out detail is low enough and small enough not to expose too much such as bra straps and what not.

I love showing off my legs but not too much! This length is just right because I need to be comfortable and maintain some type of modesty as I go about my day. All my accessories are tan, I just wanted to keep it low key. I had so much fun shooting this and I was absolutely delighted when I saw these flowers that matched my dress! I am so glad the sun is out in Ireland and I am trying to enjoy it while it lasts (because we know how rare the sun can be!).
