Summer has almost arrived which means it’s  nearly time to pack away the winter coats, scarves and boots into the attic to make room for fun, colourful summer clothes like this dusty pastel blue playsuit!

I was window shopping in House of Fraser with zero intention of buying anything but when I came across this romper, I had to have it. It was the only one left in my size and better yet, it was on sale at nearly 70% off! I am a size 16 UK/IRL and this playsuit is a size 14 but because its quite stretchy, it fits just fine.

Blue has always been my favourite colour and this playsuit is a pastel blue which is bang-on trend for the season. It’s cinched in right at the waist and it is quite roomy around the front which is great for disguising your belly if it’s  a problem area for you. The lace detail makes it quite dressy but you can dress this playsuit down by adding flat shoes and a denim jacket.

I kept the accessories pretty simple with some gold accents here and there. The little over the shoulder bag is from Primark. The nude sandals are from Korkys and the same pair can be found here in black. If you are a little shy about showing some skin, throw on a pair of tights and you’re good to go!

My favourite part of sunshine is wearing sunglasses! I have this funky boho-chic pair that I got from Ruchiru Collections and you can get the same pair here.

These oversized shades work well on a round face like mine and if you are buying online, you can never go wrong with oversized sunglasses.
