I cannot believe it is all finally over! I recently graduated and I am officially a Master of Science in Chemistry! I recently had a graduation party to celebrate this huge achievement and I figured why not blog about what I wore.

If you are on Instagram and you are a fashion enthusiast then House Of CB should be familiar to you. Their clothes have been worn by celebrities all over the world but what I love about them is that they keep their prices accessible for people that don’t have pockets that are as deep.

 I wanted to wear something special for my party and had been eyeing a few dresses on their website but I was hesitant to purchase online because I wasn’t sure if they carried the dresses in sizes that would fit a plus size girl like me. When I heard they had shops in the UK, myself and my cousin flew to London so that I can actually try the dresses on and see if the dress I wanted would fit. I know I could have purchased it online and tried it on in the comfort of my own home and sent it back if it didn’t fit but we all know how I feel about that kind of hussle!

We went to their shop in Westfield Stratford City and I swear we spent hours in there! So many amazing clothes and shoes but this is the dress that caught my eye and I was so happy when I tried it on and it fit! I am wearing the Naiara dress in size Large (which is the biggest size they carry and the sales assistant told me it’s the equivalent of a UK 14).

The dress has a bit of a stretch which is always a plus when you have bountiful hips like me. It’s pretty low cut so I used a necklace for a little modesty. Looking back, I may have over-accessorized but you can add and take away pieces as you wish.

The dress is available here. It’s a bit pricey for my usual budget but I thought it was worth it for the occassion.
