Double Denim and Thigh-high Boots

Ever since I watched ‘Pretty Woman‘ I have always wanted to own a pair of thigh-high boots. Only one problem though, can you guess it? I’ll give you a hint: my thighs!

If you are like me, and you were given a generous helping of “thick” thighs then you might understand that finding such boots that actually fit all the way up to your thighs presents itself as quite the challenge! But alas, I found a pair that fits perfectly in Penneys (or better known around the rest of the world as Primark). IMG_723511

Penneys is great for plus sizes because their clothing goes up to a size 20 (UK/IRL). I paired the boots with denim jeans and shirt (with rolled up sleeves for a more casual look) also from Penneys. A short faux-fur gilet is a great addition to the outfit for these current cool spring days and it’s from Dunnes Stores.3

Floppy hats have been trending for a while and this is one of the very many that I own which is also from Penneys. (I have a slight obsession with Penneys…can you tell?!). The bag, from TKMaxx, is a great pop of colour for any outfit and it is by a designer called Jane Shilton.

So if you are on the hunt for a great comfortable pair of thigh-high boots, check out Penneys! Don’t say I never told you.

See you on my next post.

Thanks for the comment! Ye I have worn them for the whole day before and they are comfortable but like any heels as long as you are not on your feet all day they should be fine. 😊
